The High Desert area is made up of several communities:  Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, and Twenty-Nine Palms.  The High Desert area supports an active and thriving community home to artists, musicians, families, and many U.S. Marines from across the country.   Secluded homesteads, horse properties, artist retreats, family neighborhoods make up the diversity within the High Desert area.   Beginning only 20 miles from Palm Springs, the High Desert exhibits some of the most beautiful scenery in Southern California including grand mountain vistas, star-filled night skies, and the occasional meteor shower.
